Lord Jay Jay made all, clear after 8th, shaken up approaching last, stayed on well
Roby De Cimbre held up, jumped right 6th, headway 8th, chased winner 3 out, soon ridden, no impression from last
Orfeo Conti chased leaders, hit 7th, ridden and weakened 2 out
O´Toole prominent, ridden and weakening when jumped right 3 out
Eljay´s Boy held up, not fluent 4th, ridden after 8th, never dangerous
Billyandi held up, ridden and weakened after 8th
Orrezzo held up, ridden 7th, some headway after next, soon weakened
Glengarra chased winner until weakened after 8th, behind when pulled up before last
Even though he won last time, Roby De Cimbre still had a bit to prove against more experienced rivals. He was the only one to give the winner something to think about in the latter stages and should be capable of going close in similar company next time.
Eljay's Boy, who was dropping in trip, was in big trouble down the back straight and never looked like getting on terms.
Billyandi was always in trouble and has shown all his best form on softer ground
