Advancement led, clear until after 2nd, went clear again 5th, went left and hit last, unchallenged

Acapulco Bay held up in rear, headway to chase winner approaching 2 out, no impression

Head To Kerry held up, headway 3 out, went 2nd briefly after 3 out, one pace

Kosciusko held up, ridden when not fluent 3 out, no danger after

Amazing Request held up in rear, no chance from 3 out

Ganymede held up in touch, disputed 2nd approaching 5th until ridden after 3 out, soon weakened

Dark Energy chased winner until after 3 out, soon weakened, pulled up before 2 out

This novice handicap hurdle revolved around the others giving ADVANCEMENT too much rope out in front as his quickened things up, slowed it down and then kicked again. The tactic seemed to get his fellow riders at it and the winner came home unchallenged. He got in here off 106 and beat Acapulco Bay into third spot over course and distance earlier this month, but beat that rival a lot easier this time so he could well be progressing.

Acapulco Bay is not that easy a ride as he tends to be quite free and the way things fell for him did not suit. He is up to making amends shortly.

Kosciusko had onlywon a seller here and that is about her grade.

Dark Energy was very disappointing and may need the ground a lot faster than he got here.
