Hawridge King tracked leaders, ridden to lead well over 1f out, drifted right well inside final furlong, stayed on strongly

They All Laughed held up and behind, ridden 4f out, headway 3f out, stayed on very strongly inside final furlong, snatched 2nd final stride

Trachonitis held up towards rear, headway to track leaders 3f out, waited with, switched right to challenge and ridden entering final furlong, kept on but no extra, lost 2nd final stride

Trew Style led at steady pace until quickened after 2f, soon 5 lengths clear, ridden and headed well over 1f out, rallied, 3rd and held when not much room and switched left towards finish

Fascinatin Rhythm mid-division, headway 4f out, ridden and chance 2f out, kept on same pace

Wise Owl prominent, ridden 4f out, soon one pace

King´s Fable mid-division, ridden 4f out, soon beaten

Optimus reminders soon after start, mid-division, ridden over 4f out, soon beaten

HAWRIDGE KING kept pulling out extra to repel They All Laughed. The six-year-old is most effective on quickish ground and had indicated with a promising run at Haydock he was coming to the boil.

They All Laughed is finding his form now the ground is getting faster, and put in a late spurt to take second in the final 50 yards. He is on the cusp of opening his turf account for the year.

Trachonitis was up 4lb for his Newmarket success at the end of May. He wasn't able to be as competitiveand never looked like threatening Hawridge King, though it was another solid run. He's been a model of consistency since joining his current trainer.
