Hannon felt the ground would have been plenty quick enough for Dane O'Neill's mount and said: "He has plenty of bone and would appreciate a bit of cut in the ground. He won't run for a while, as I want to step him up to a mile."
Dreamwalk looked reasonably straight and attracted each-way support. Soon bagging the rail, he showed signs of greenness and found more when headed by the winner without being shown the whip. This was a most encouraging first effort.
Perfect Shot wasn't knocked about when the birds had flown. He'll have learned plenty from this.
His stablemate Spit And Polish weakened approaching the distance.
