Dressed To Dance slowly into stride, held up in midfield on inner, gradually edged out off rail and headway 3f out, carried left over 1f out, went 2nd 1f out, led inside final furlong, ran on strongly
Farthermost chased leaders, ridden and edged left over 1f out, chased leader briefly over 1f out, kept on under pressure final furlong
Peter Island went left start, soon led, clear over 2f out, ridden over 1f out, headed inside final furlong, faded final 100yds
Prince Of Delphi badly hampered start, behind, ridden 2f out, stayed on but never pace to reach leaders
Louphole behind, headway 3f out, not clear run over 1f out, soon switched right and rider dropped reins, stayed on final furlong, never reached leaders
Linda Green went right start, soon in touch, ridden and struggling over 2f out, no danger after
Bobby Rose held up, headway over 2f out, chased leaders and carried left over 1f out, weakened final furlong
Hollow Jo chased leaders, ridden over 2f out, carried left over 1f out, soon weakened
Jimmy The Guesser hampered start, raced in midfield on outer, headway and ridden over 2f out, weakened over 1f out
Norcroft chased leaders, went 2nd briefly over 2f out, ridden and short of room 2f out, soon weakened
Monashee Prince held up towards rear, ridden and effort over 2f out, never troubled leaders
Cracking Nick went right start, soon chased leader until over 2f out, edged left and soon weakened
Trees Of Green raced in midfield until lost place and behind over 3f out, no chance after
Obe Royal always behind
Cinnamon Hill chased leaders until halfway, soon dropped out, well behind final 2f
Farthermost is proving a consistently reliable performer in six furlong handicaps and never looked like being out ofthe argument. He'd won with little to spare on his previous start and was just anchored by a penalty.
Peter Island was another to see his prospects compromised by a penalty, the 6lb for his Warwick win hindering his cause after he attempted to getaway from the others. Interestingly, he has never followed-up a success before.
Louphole was another to experience traffic problems. Switched right over a furlong out, he kept on under pressure without looking like making an impact.
