Celtic Change held up in midfield, pushed along over 3f out, effort 2f out, soon outpaced
Graceful Descent in touch until driven and outpaced from 2f out
Sadler´s Kingdom held up, pushed along over 2f out, some late headway, never reached leaders
Toto Skyllachy took keen hold, led after 3f to over 2f out, weakened over 1f out
Wovoka in touch, steady headway and close up over 2f out, ridden and weakened over 1f out
Fever dwelt, behind, driven over 3f out, never on terms
Fort Churchill held up, driven along over 2f out, soon weakened
Dar Es Salaam towards rear on inside, pushed along over 3f out, never on terms
Marvo tracked leaders until ridden and weakened from over 2f out
Hawkit, with the ground in his favour, was given a peach of a ride to go and win his race inside the last, but he was mugged in the dying strides. Rosbay, another who had favourable conditions, ran his race in third, battling on to the finish. Shaloo Diamond, upped 5lb for his Ripon win, never had an easy time of it on the front end but, to his credit, he stuck to his guns in likeable fashion.
