Damika midfield far side, not clear run over 2f, shuffled back over 1f out, switched right, good headway and hung right inside final furlong, nearest finish, 3rd of 9 in group
Rising Shadow held up, headway over 1f out, kept on final furlong, no impression towards finish, 4th of 9 in group
Baby Strange led stands' side, ridden over 2f out, kept on final furlong, not reach far side, 1st of 5 in group
Burning Incense held up stands' side, headway over 1f out, kept on final furlong, no impression, 2nd of 5 in group
Ingleby Arch chased clear leader far side, driven over 2f out, one pace final furlong, 5th of 9 in group

Greco Tom held up far side, ridden over 2f out, soon beaten, last of 9 in group
GEOJIMALI made a tardy start and still had plenty to do two furlongs out, but with the leaders stopping a little he hit top gear inside the last and got on top in the shadow of the post.
Pawan, who carried 4lb overweight, ran a blinder, cutting down the long-time leader inside the final furlong and then missing out only in a bobbing finish. Damika looked unlucky. Having raced in touch with the leaders on the far side, he seemed a little tight for room on the rails and, after being taken back by a weakening rival, had to be switched to his right. Ending up in the centre of the course, he steamed home, but was just too late.
Burning Incense, another to race stands-side, confirmed his well-being. Ingleby Arch, from a stable returning to form, turned-in a decent display. Trojan Flight would have finished closer but for being stopped in his tracks by a beaten rival when staying on well inside the last. Valery Borzov showed bags of pace and was driven clear well over a furlong out. But he was unable to sustain his trojan effort tothe finish and he was swamped inside the last.
