Zidane, on whom hold-up tactics were again employed, finally got a run-up the inner, but he was only staying on at the same speed when the winner took his ground inside the last. This ground may not have played to his strengths.
Reverence ran a respectable race, considering he's not the same force he was two seasons back.
Confuchias, winner of this race last year when trained in Ireland, was unable to do the double.
Greek Renaissance was comfortably held on his seasonal debut.
Brave Prospector, winner of a valuable three-year-old handicap at York last time, was found out in this stronger race against older rivals.
