Analyis of the race
ADVERSITY broke well and was settled in second. He was given a good lead until the turn for home, where he quickened nicely to take the lead and once in front he opened up to win very smoothly. He is sure to go up for this win, but looks capable of further improvement.
Mister Hardy, who got a bump in the early stages, settled in midfield and responded when switched and asked to get competitive, but though he came through strongly for second place, the winner was long gone.
Danzig Fox was never in with a winning chance, but did some good work in the closing stages to stay on for fourth place.
Calmdownmate set a good pace and was still there with every chance approaching the final furlong, but he faded rapidly when headed. He could be found a small handicap.
