My Aunt Fanny raced keenly, always handy, chased leader 2f out, ran on to lead entering final furlong, soon clear, readily
Maha Dubai led, headed 7f out, remained prominent, regained lead well over 2f out, ridden over 1f out, headed entering final furlong, soon no chance with winner
Elbistan slowly into stride, held up, headway over 2f out, went 3rd over 1f out, kept on final furlong without pace to trouble front pair
Lisbon Lion raced keenly, held up, headway 7f out, lost place 3f out, no danger after
Akarshan in touch, carried wide on bend and lost place after 2f, pushed along over 4f out, headway under pressure over 2f out, soon weakened
Hernando Cortes prominent until ridden and weakened over 4f out
Wee Ellie Coburn pulled hard, held up, headway after 2f, hung right and ran very wide round 1st bend, hung right thereafter, led 7f out, headed well over 2f out, weakened well over 1f out
Maha Dubai tried to make all the running, apart from a couple of furlongs when she was headed by the wayward Wee Ellie Coburn. She led into the home straight and was clear second best, though she had no answer when the winner went by. She should win a similar race.
Wee Ellie Coburn ran very wide on the turn away from the stands and gave her jockey a nightmare ride by continually trying to go right on this turning left-hand track.
