Bo McGinty bumped soon after start, in touch, effort over 1f out, ran on to lead inside final furlong, pushed out towards finish
Stolt led, ridden over 1f out, headed inside final furlong, not quicken
Little Pete midfield, ridden and headway over 1f out, ran on and gaining at finish
Carcinetto behind, pushed along halfway, stayed on inside final furlong, not pace to challenge leaders
Kay Two tracked leaders, not clear run on inner over 1f out, soon ridden, no extra final 100yds
Golden Dixie midfield, pushed along halfway, stayed on inside final furlong, not pace to reach leaders
Princess Ellis prominent, ridden and edged left over 1f out, weakened final 100yds
Not My Choice slowly into stride, towards rear, pushed along halfway, never on terms
Malapropism prominent, squeezed out 2f out, weakened over 1f out
Stolt jumped quickly from stall four to grab an early advantage and made a bold attempt to lead throughout, but though he tried to respond when the winner drew alongside, he was always being held in the closing stages.
Carcinetto came out best of the rest, although the eyecatcher was Princess Ellis, who showed plenty of speed to be in the front rank, only to be forced wide on the turn and she was not knocked about when her chance had gone.
