Analyis of the race
A dry, breezy day and the going was described as consistent, fast summer jumping ground by the riders. This maiden hurdle was not a great heat by any means but it afforded RED ADMIRAL a grand chance to get off the mark over hurdles even though he hadto be driven right out in the end. He has a mark of 108 which should have been good enough to win something like this and as he handles the ground there might be other wins to come over the summer as he was decent on the Flat.
Rising Force, wearing blinkers for the first time over hurdles, ran very well and with the front pair coming clear the form is fair enough for this time of year and he should be found an opportunity or two on the basis of this effort.
King Of The Beers again shaped with a degree of promise but is probably the type who really needs another run to get a mark.
