Ceili Mor dwelt, behind and green, shortlived effort 3f out, soon beaten
Dalla Finestra took keen hold, in touch until weakened from 2f out
Ourbelle in touch on outside until weakened from halfway, tailed off
Born To Frill took keen hold, prominent 3f, soon lost touch
The drop back in trip brought about improvement in PERSIAN SEA, who won convincingly after taking it up over 2f out. Although in some quarters it hadbeen suggested she set off too quick last time, her jockey reported it was the trip of 1m that beat her and that this is as far as she wants.
Rhadegunda came here having had just the one start, on the all-weather, more than 200 days ago. She had given the impression she needed the race that da, and clearly knew a lot more here, sticking on to edge out stablemate Lake Windernere for second in the final strides.
Dalla Finestra found herself short of room over 2f out, having raced quietly up the rails in the early part of the race. The distress signals were staring to be sounded at the time however and it is debatable just how much that costher.
