H Harrison prominent, led 3f out, ridden and headed well over 1f out, soon weakened
BARONS SPY was one of very few to enter the contest on a high, so it was no great surprise that he won. However, the manner of his victory was extremely smooth, the seven-year-old cruising through the race before readily asserting once asked to put it up to rest. Although seven, he seems better than ever.
The Kiddykid is very in and out these days, and generally more out than in, but he ran an honest race this time on a course he likes. He is, however, nothing like the horse of old, and this had looked on paper to be one of his better chances. Back in more competitive company, he seems sure to struggle.
H Harrison loves this place when he is on a going day, but this was not one of thedays.
