Cornish Rose tracked leaders, not clear run over 1f out, soon switched left, quickened to lead inside final furlong, edged right when running on and in command towards finish
Musical Maze pressed leader, pushed along 3f out, still every chance and challenging entering final furlong, not quicken final 75yds
Lady Salama raced keenly, led, ridden and headed inside final furlong, no extra towards finish
Lunar Romance held up behind leaders, effort on outside 2f out, lugged left and outpaced by leaders inside final furlong
Our Apolonia missed break, always outpaced and behind
CORNISH ROSE, the filly in question, duly obliged and in decisive fashion to boot, but she probably had little on her plate, so it would be wise not to get carried away. Ridden close to the rail, she was the only member of the field able to change gear up the straight, and in doing so, she confirmed the favourable impression made on her Newmarket introduction.
Lady Salama ran a fair race but seems to be one-paced, while Lunar Romance still showed signs of greenness. Our Apolonia did not show much of anything.
