Clifton Dancer made all, ridden and edged right well over 1f out, soon edged left, driven out
Lesson In Humility took keen hold, chased winner until over 4f out, not much room on inside over 3f out, ridden and every chance inside final furlong, not quicken
Kylayne held up, not much room soon after start, headway 3f out, ridden over 1f out, one pace inside final furlong, saddle slipped
Highland Daughter held up, hampered soon after start, ridden over 1f out, kept on towards finish
Frivolous prominent, edged left soon after start, chased winner over 4f out until ridden well over 1f out, switched right just over 1f out, no extra inside final furlong
Kay Es Jay held up, hampered on inside soon after start, behind final 3f
Lady Aquitaine hampered soon after start, raced awkwardly, in touch until weakened over 2f out
CLIFTON DANCER got herself in front and refused to be denied. She looks an improved performer this term as she had won a handicap in similar style and can only go on from here as she stepped up on her mark if the adjusted ratings are to be believed. One thing for sure is that she is honest and genuine on this evidence.
Lesson In Humility had the beating of the winner on ratings but she could never get her head in front. She looked to run up to her best, so that is another boost for the seemingly improving winner.
Highland Daughter has struggled a bit, albeit in decent class, since making a winning debut last term.
Frivolous was the one who caused the trouble at the start, which was ruled accidental, and she ran much the same as her last outing in this grade.
