Peter Island made all, ridden just over 1f out, driven out
Toms Laughter always chasing winner, ridden and edged left inside final furlong, not quicken
China Cherub held up, headway 3f out, switched right well over 1f out, soon ridden, kept on towards finish
Stamford Blue went slightly right start, prominent, ridden well over 1f out, one pace final furlong
Seamus Shindig held up and behind, headway well over 1f out, soon ridden, one pace final furlong
Bombardier Wells bumped start, behind, ridden over 1f out, never dangerous
Lunces Lad behind, ridden 2f out, never near leaders
Caribbean Coral held up and behind, ridden well over 1f out, soon struggling
Chinese Temple soon prominent, weakening when not much room briefly 2f out
PETER ISLAND was not badly handicappedon some of his old form and his trailblazing tactics paid off here in these circumstances but he is not certain to repeat the dose as he is unlikely to get things falling into place for him like they did here.
Toms Laughter, another speedy type, chased the winner throughout but could never really get to him. The handicapper might be in control after his wins earlier this year.
Stamford Blue is another up against it as far as the handicapper is concerned at present.
