Milly Rose went right start, soon prominent, ridden over 2f out, soon weakened

Just a small field for this juvenile maiden, but there will be worth in such races run at Leicester this season and plenty worse winners than LUCKY REDBACK, who really impressed in making all. Placed here in his two previous outings, he appreciated the step-up to 6f but, in truth, had all his rivals under pressure at halfway. It will be interesting to see where Richard Hannon takes him next, as the speedy son of Redback has ability.

Cavendish Road showed up pleasingly on his first start at Salisbury and he again displayed talent here. However, he was still outclassed by the winner, as was Churchills Victory, who finished his first race at Nottingham to some effect, but on this occasion was one of the first beat. Once done for, he could manage only the one pace and has to be described as disappointing.
