Town House led 1f, with leader, ridden and edged right over 1f out, ran on to lead near finish

Night Rainbow soon pushed along in rear, weakened halfway, behind when edged left towards finish
City For Conquest slowly into stride, held up, ridden and weakened halfway, behind when hung right right well inside final furlong
Time Share soon outpaced, behind when hampered towards finish
A following wind helped front-running duo TOWN HOUSE and Roman Quintet last home, and they duly filled the first two places, with Town House, who raced towards the stands' rail, far from the centre-track-running Roman Quintet, narrowly getting the verdict.
The six-year-old mare had not won a race since scoring at Nottingham as a juvenile, but she did precious little wrong here and, according to her rider, won with a little in hand. That said, this was a very modest affair and, as ever with this sort of race, the form may not be that reliable.
Dancing Mystery showed plenty of enthusiasm on his 193rd appearance, while Thoughtsofstardom was not given a hard time and ran better than his finishing position would suggest.
