King Kenny held up in touch, headway to lead over 2f out, soon clear, eased close home
Woody Waller ran green in rear, behind until headway 2f out, went 2nd inside final furlong, no chance with winner
Ceka Dancer pulled hard 4f, chased leaders, effort over 2f out, soon chasing winner, hung right over 1f out, lost 2nd and no extra inside final furlong
Green Diamond close up, led over 3f out to over 2f out, no extra over 1f out
Circus Clown midfield, driven and outpaced halfway, no impression from 2f out
Wilmington led to over 3f out, soon weakened
Setareh started slowly, never on terms
Barashi tracked leaders until weakened from 3f out
Cadeaux Singer missed break, never on terms
Woody Waller was making his racecourse bow. He really got the hang of things a bit too late, but stayed on in good style and left plenty of encouragement of better to come, maybe over further.
Ceka Dancer took a very strong hold early on and it was no surprise that having been close enough if good enough she had nothing in reserve in the closing stages. It was her first run since mid-December and, with the freshness perhaps out of the system now, there may be some improved form to come.
