Candela Bay held up in rear, pulled outside and headway over 2f out, led 1f out, ridden clear, quickened well
Ivory Silk mid-division, ridden and headway 2f out, went 2nd 1f out, not pace of winner
Presto Levanter chased leader, slight lead over 1f out, soon headed and comfortably outpaced by winner
Apple Pie Order slowly into stride, soon in midfield, driven to chase leaders over 1f out, kept on final furlong
Tea Cake held up in rear, pulled outside well over 1f out, ran on, nearest finish
Khazina behind, headway and not much room 2f out, driven to chase leaders over 1f out, stayed on same pace
Belle Bellino chased leaders over 4f
Ma Vie En Rose prominent over 3f
Midnight Fling soon pushed along towards rear, moderate effort when slightly hampered over 2f out, no danger
Infinite Patience soon led, headed and weakened rapidly over 1f out
Blue Zenith chased leaders, ridden over 3f out, weakened over 2f out, no chance when hampered well over 1f out
Milldown Bay always in rear group, hard ridden and no danger final 3f
Ivory Silk remains a maiden but, under her big weight, she stayed on strongly in the final furlong for another placing, suggesting the relenting handicapper is finally giving her a chance as this looks her level.
Presto Levanter did best of the prominent racers but her rise for her recent win took its toll.
Tea Cake, who has ruined her chances by pulling too hard, was buried at the back and was held up in her run through for nearly a furlong at a vital stage. Switched left to the stands' side of the pack, she stayed on takingly and on this showing is going the right way to suggest further progress.
Khazina was another to suffer a troubled run and she too was finishing off well and has run better than the bare form.
