Parthenope chased leading pair, ridden and effort 2f out, led over 1f out, clear inside final furlong, idled towards finish
Million Percent steadied and dropped in after start, raced off the pace in midfield, headway over 3f out, stayed on under pressure to go 2nd inside final furlong, no chance with winner
Trivia chased leaders, ridden to challenge over 2f out, led 2f out, headed over 1f out, outpaced final furlong
Crafty Fox raced off the pace in midfield, headway on inner 3f out, switched left over 1f out, edged left but stayed on final furlong, never reached leaders
Eagle Nebula soon well behind in last, reminders 6f out, came wide 3f out, ran on last 2f, never able to challenge
Zorn pressed leader, every chance and ridden over 2f out until faded entering final furlong
Hollow Jo raced off the pace in midfield, headway 3f out, kept on same pace final furlong
Hits Only Cash alwys behind, ridden over 4f out, never troubled leaders
Sion Hill set fast pace until headed 2f out, weakened over 1f out

Barley Moon slowly into stride, behind, ridden and edged right 3f out, never dangerous
Sir Mikeale chased leaders, struggling halfway, tailed off last 2f
The strong pace suited PARTHENOPE, but in an ideal world she would have liked a lead for longer, for having been perfectly poised to challenge turning into the straight she was in front plenty soon enough and then pricked her ears and idled. She still won by a decent margin, but she looked value for significantly more, and so she ought to be hard to beat if in-form connections can find another race in which she can run off her proper mark before she is reassessed. Unfortunately, off 49 that may not be easy.
Veteran Million Percent was dropped in at the back from his wide draw but made his ground in reasonable time and had his chance. So toodid Trivia, who raced handier took it up briefly before the winner led.
Eagle Nebula looked interesting after his recent handicap debut second over course and distance, but he dropped himself out and did not want to know. He was still last going into the last two fulrongs but then picked up when the race was over, passing horse after horse. He might need headgear.
