Laahig slowly into stride, behind, headway over 2f out, weaved through inside final furlong, kept on well to lead post
Sloop Johnb with leaders, ridden and led inside final furlong, kept on, caught post
Tori´s Secret prominent, led approaching final furlong until headed inside final furlong, kept on under pressure
Blue Dagger behind and soon pushed along, headway over 1f out, kept on well final furlong
What A Fella prominent, effort and switched right over 1f out, kept on same pace final furlong
Suzie Quw slight lead to approaching final furlong, soon no extra
Dispol Grand with leaders until ridden and no extra 1f out
Captain Cromby chased leaders until lost place over 2f out, no danger after
Port Ronan prominent until ridden and weakened over 2f out
Iorek Byrnison soon pushed along in rear, struggling from halfway
Pennine Rose started very slowly, tailed off throughout
Sloop Johnb appeared to run lazily in the front rank and was inclined to prick his ears once in front. Although his jockey was well aware that his mount was green and idling, and rousted him accordingly, he was nailed on the stick.
