Ogre steadied start, held up in headway to lead on bit 2f out, always in command after, hard held
Fairly Honest led until headed 2f out, ridden and kept on but no chance with winner after
Shrewd Dude tracked leaders, ridden over 2f out, kept on to retain poor 3rd inside final furlong
Karmei in rear, effort on outside over 3f out, never on terms
Split The Wind tracked leader until ridden over 2f out, soon beaten
Valassini in touch, until ridden over 4f out, soon weakened, tailed off
She duly treated them with disdain, ranging up to leader Fairly Honest still on the bridle, and she swept awaywith the minimum of fuss, value for more than the bare margin. She did not have to be at her best to better the runner-up, now a maiden after 18 attempts.
