Rockinit took keen hold, carried right over 3f out, never on terms
Noworneva slowly into stride, last when hampered over 3f out, well beaten when eased inside final furlong
Analyis of the race
A hot and breezy day counteracted the watering to leave the ground firming up to its summer ‘fast'. There was a false running rail from the top of the hill pushing out the inside line some five yards until ending 21/2f out.
SOUTER'S SISTER proved far too good for her rivals, having been reined in after starting smartly to let Sonhador lead on sufferance. She got unbalanced at halfway when pulled out to go past the frontrunner, but that was the only scare, and she only needed nudging out to go clear before the final furlong, value for more than the margin.
The rest were well beaten, although put off by the winner's midrace meander.
Rockinit was threatening to make a move but then weakened disappointingly. She is still on the weak side and can improve on the bare form.
