Anna Lane chased leading pair, ridden along 3f out, soon driven and weakened 2f out
Willaby Lad in touch, ridden along over 3f out, soon weakened
Aspendale held up in rear, headway over 3f out, soon ridden and weakened final 2f
Lighting Shadow in touch, ridden along over 3f out and soon weakened
Bandoran always behind
WIKAALA, having broken tardily, soon led. He looked green at various stages, but his jockey made his mind up for him from over a furlong out as he was faced with a strong challenge and he kept pulling out more to the finish.
Filigree Lace threw down a strong challenge from over 1f out, but she was just worried out of it inside the last. She ought to win something similar.
Mill Beattie and Anna Lace were comfortably held.
