Stoneacre Pat slowly into stride, headway over 1f out, ridden, edged left and ran on to lead well inside final furlong
Heaven slowly into stride, held up, headway halfway, not clear from run over 1f out until gap appeared well inside final furlong, ran on well, no chance with winner
Our Kally mid-division, soon pushed along, outpaced over 3f out, ran on well inside final furlong
Jalons Bridewell led, ridden and hung left from over 1f out, headed inside final furlong, stayed on same pace
Mystickhill slowly into stride, soon chasing leaders, every chance when hampered over 1f out, ridden to lead inside final furlong, soon headed and no extra
Shatter Resistant chased leader, ridden, hung left and every chance over 1f out, hung right and not run on well inside final furlong
Richardthesecond prominent, ridden and hung left over 1f out, stayed on same pace
Planet Paradise slowly into stride, outpaced, stayed on inside final furlong, not trouble leaders
Seductive Witch chased leaders, ridden halfway, weakened final furlong
Laa Baas chased leaders to halfway
Heaven was most unlucky. She had not enjoyed the best of runs when second at Bath recently, with Our Kally and Planet Paradise behind, but she was trapped for room all the way up the straight here, and when she did find some racing room Stoneacre Pat was already bounding clear. She deserves a change of fortune.
Flop of the race was Laa Baas. Handicapped on the strength of three turf runs at 6f, she was sent off as joint favourite but was beaten by halfway. Perhaps she needs a step up in trip, rather than a step down, or maybe she hated the surface, but there are obvious questions to answer after this poor effort.
