Dancer´s Legacy rousted along early, led or disputed lead to 3f out, weakened over 1f out
Howdigo held up in midfield, driven and struggling over 2f out, eased when no chance inside final furlong
Bauhaus Bourbon always in rear, lost touch 3f out, hanging left but stayed on under pressure final furlong
Amylee chased leading pair 5f out until weakened under pressure 2f out
Loyal Knight tracked leaders until weakened rapidly over 2f out
The winner was ridden to get to the front, dicing with Dancer's Legacy for a couple of furlongs before the usual easing around the tight bend for home. Getting his way in front clearly suited Brave Hawk from there and he ran out a ready and game winner.
Irish Mayhem, locked away at the back, was pulled out widest mid-track, but he did not pick up for strong riding inside the last two furlongs and is looking in the handicapper's grip.
