Regal Royale soon ridden, chased leader over 4f out, led over 3f out, held on gamely under pressure final furlong, all out
Forced Upon Us in touch, driven and unable to quicken 2f out, ran on last 100yds, not quite reach winner
Arfinnit chased leader until over 4f out, ridden to chase winner well over 1f out, unable to quicken final furlong, lost 3rd towards finish
Mine Behind dropped in behind after start, well behind until good headway over 1f out, chased leaders inside final furlong, no impression last 50yds
Quality Street soon bustled along in rear, ridden halfway, stayed on final furlong, never reached leaders
Rhapsilian took keen hold, went slightly right start, held up in behind leaders, edged left over 4f out, hit rail over 2f out, soon ridden, chased leaders entering final furlong, no extra last 100yds
Monashee Prince held up towards rear, ridden and effort just over 2f out, never pace to trouble leaders
Kyllachy Storm midfield when clipped heels and stumbled over 4f out, towards rear after, kept on from over 1f out, never pace to reach leaders
Duke Of Milan squeezed out and stumbled after start, always behind
Half A Tsar led until over 3f out, chased winner after until well over 1f out, soon weakened
REGAL ROYALE had run well at Folkestone last time, but he had been placed only once previously here from 15 starts. His outside draw looked a problem, but Adam Kirby was determined to lead and drove the ears off him in the early stages to ensure he got to the front. Arfinnit looked a danger 1f out, but he saw him off and then just held the late effort of Forced Upon Us.
Forced Upon Us was well enough placed on the home turn, but he did not hit top gear until inside the last furlong and his effort came just too late. All his three wins have been over another furlong.
Mine Behind was dropped out at the back of the field. He came with what looked like a threatening effort from off the pace going into the final furlong, but it just flattened out near the finish.
Joint top-weight Quality Street is on a decent mark again now and she ran her best race in a while, keeping on when the race was over.
Rhapsilian caused a bit of trouble at the start - where Duke Of Milan was the worst sufferer - and then hit the rail over 2f out.
