Analyis of the race
This fillies' handicap was nothing to get carried away about, but a fairly open contest anyway. ORIENTAL GIRL had been gradually getting the hang of things and finally got her head in front. In the context of this race she is probably progressive as it would not be great surprise if she managed to follow up.
Sarah Park came into the race with only four runs under her belt and she seems to be going the right way, and one of these fillies' heats should come her way as the front two were clear here.
Mrs Summersby has not really built on a promising debut.
