Manyriverstocross made all, shaken up over 1f out, pushed clear final furlong, comfortably
Nisaal held up and behind, headway over 3f out, ridden and chased winner over 2f out, no impression
Special Branch Ami held up and behind, some headway on inside over 3f out, ridden over 2f out, stayed on final furlong, never nearer
Requia prominent, chased winner after 3f, ridden 3f out, weakened over 1f out
Manalito prominent, ridden 3f out, soon weakened
Yes Sir started slowly, recovered to join leaders after 2f, ridden over 3f out, soon weakened
No Nukes held up and behind, struggling when ridden over 5f out
Lockstone Lad slowly into stride, ridden over 3f out, always in rear
Snake Hips chased winner 2f, prominent until ridden and weakened over 3f out
Connections considered the ground would have been as fast as the 87-rated colt really wants, and he will have a little break before coming back in the autumn when there could be a nice race in him.
Nisaal was put in his place by the winner, but he comes from a yard whose horses have a knack of improving once handicapped, which he is eligible for now. However, the handicapper probably will not take too many risks with him considering the mark of the first home.
Requia is now up for a mark, but she will have to step up on what she has shown so far.
