Callow Lake tracked leader in 2nd, slight mistake 4th and 6 out, on terms before 4 out where bad mistake and left clear, stayed on well straight
Moscow Breeze in rear, moderate 3rd from 9th, left 2nd 4 out, no impression under pressure and kept on same pace straight
Lorum Leader tracked leaders in 3rd, dropped to rear at 9th, soon lost touch, no danger when left 3rd 4 out where bad mistake and almost unseated rider
Keys Pride led, joined before 4 out where stumbled on landing and unseated rider
Without a win since August 2006, CALLOW LAKE had an ideal opportunity here and took it in the end.
Favourite, Keys Pride set out to make all and the mare jumped quite brilliantly until the final circuit. A slight mistake five out led to her being joined by the winner, and she appeared to jump the fourth last perfectly well only to slip a few strides later and unseat Robert Power when trying to recover.
Callow Lake was none too tidy four out either, indeed had jumped with varying degrees of fluency throughout. Left clear, he didn't really do a whole lot in front but he jumped the last two fences very fluently and was never going to be in any danger. He pulled up lame after the race but appeared to be okay once he was walked around the winner's enclosure a few times.
Lorum Leader dropped to the rear at about halfway and was trailing when making a bad blunder four out. [JOH]
