NOT BROKE YET reverted back to the smaller obstacles and stayed on well to score. She was always prominent and travelled well to track the runner-up and favourite at the third-last, before going on after the second-last and winning well. She bounced off the ground and will be kept on the go during the summer months.
Ferry Point doesn't do herself any favours with her style of racing. She refuses to settle and did similarly here, but she can be credited with the way she kept going once the winner went past her two out.
Vicky Lane could conceivably be one to follow over the coming months if they can get herjumping sorted out. Racing quite handily, she was making ground on the outer when making a mistake three out, and was starting to stay on into a potentially challenging position when making another mistake at the last. It was only her second run over hurdles and she is entitled to improve anyway, but does look one that's likely to win a race this summer.
Young Henno showed another glimpse of ability, keeping on from mid-division without being a threat. She would seem to need a trip, and may be interesting now that she qualifies for a handicap mark, especially against her own sex.
The well-backed Morgans Lady missed the break and jumped poorly, she was reported to be lame post-race, while Vivid Exposure was never a factor. The rider reported that she never acted on the ground and made a respiratory noise from the third-last. She was reported to be clinically abnormal post-race.
Lantern Belle finished plum last and reportedly hung left throughout. (JOH)
