Trust In Me made all, ridden under 2f out, kept on well final furlong
More Time Tim chased leaders in 4th, ridden 2f out, kept on final furlong to go 2nd close home
Teach Nua soon chased leader in 2nd, ridden under 2f out, no extra over 1f out, lost 2nd close home
Murtaad chased leaders in 3rd, ridden under 3f out, stayed on under pressure, no extra from 1 1/2f out, kept on same pace
Deckhand raced mainly in 5th, no impression from over 3f out
Soviet Survivor always behind
After a good run at Gowran last time, it was no real surprise that More Time Tim ran well here. Indeed, he probably found the track plenty sharp enough. He travelled quite well for the most part, but just struggled a little bit to handle the second-last bend and ended up on the outside of the field. He ran on well in the straight to cut the deficit down and should get another furlong anyway.
A second run on the Flat for Murtaad, and he showedsome ability, although it's often hard to judge in a race like this. Closing up shortly after the start, he was close enough to be a threat, before eventually just keeping on at the one pace.
The other two runners were well beaten. Soviet Survivorbeing the more disappointing of the pair having shown some ability at Gowran earlier in the month.
