Analyis of the race

Not much better than a glorified event at a point-to-point following the withdrawals. WITHINGTON, a winner between the flags last month, made a winning debut under rules despite hanging on the run in. His rider appeared at pains not to hit the front too soon and that is the key to him as he tends to idle. His trainer has made a bright start to his career and he looks to have a nice horse for the summer on his hands as he should win again especially if tried the other way round.

Mistified ran well enough to suggest a small contest can come her way somewhere.
