Avant Gardiste held up, headway 5th, left 2nd 3 out, led next on bit, pushed out, easily
Leamington Lad always prominent, left in lead 3 out, headed next, ridden and no impression after
Edgefour held up, headway 5th, left 3rd next, no headway from 2 out
Quantique in rear, ridden 5th, headway approaching 3 out, weakened before next
Estuary House in rear, mistake 4th, soon beaten
Podium Pete in touch until ridden and weakened 5th

AVANT GARDISTE has been fairly consistent this season and things went his way as he was able to track the leaders before using his flat speed to settle matters. He is no world beater but has been well placed by his trainer and, as he likes slick conditions, there might be other similarly weak affairs to come.
Edgefour ran about the same race as on her debut and she maybe better suited when she goes handicapping after another run.
The same applies to Quantique as she finished clear of the others.
