Leo´s Lucky Star held up towards rear, headway 3 out, led 2 out, soon ridden, ran on
Cavallini held up in mid-division, headway after 3rd, ridden and chased winner from 2 out, kept on under pressure flat
Party Palace led 1st, until headed after 3rd, prominent until weakened approaching 2 out
Petito prominent, not fluent 1st, led after 3rd, mistake 4th, headed approaching 2 out, weakened approaching last
Rapid Pete held up and behind, ridden and some headway approaching 2 out, never near leaders
Lagavulin held up in touch, weakened after 3 out
Wise Men Say held up in mid-division, weakened after 3 out
Dew Drop Inn prominent until weakened after 3 out, soon eased
How Realee behind, headway approaching 5th, weakened after 3 out, no chance when blundered 2 out, tailed off
Hands Free behind from 3 out, tailed off
Santinho always behind, tailed off when blundered 3 out
London Mixture mistake 1st, always in rear, tailed off 3rd, pulled up before 2 out
Musango took keen hold, held up in touch, weakened approaching 3 out, tailed off when pulled up before 2 out
Knapp Bridge Boy led to 1st, prominent until weakened quickly approaching 3 out, soon tailed off, pulled up before 2 out
Cavallini once again filled the runner-up spot but as he and the winner came well clear the form is solid enough in the context of this obviously average heat.
Petito actually came out on top on official ratings but whether he is worth his mark on what he has actually achieved as he went up 8lb for falling last time.
Rapid Pete, fitted with a tongue-tie for the first time, was not disgraced on his first try over hurdles and may benefit for the experience.
