Classic Moon chased leader, joined leader 7th, led approaching next, went clear approaching 2 out, eased run-in
Oneforsaturday well away, clear leader, joined 7th, headed approaching next, no chance with winner, weakened between last 2
Gouranga reminders 4th, lost place 6th, kept on from 3 out, took modest 3rd near finish
Our Kenny chased leading pair, went modest 3rd 3 out, touched off near finish
Prince Ole lost place 6th, soon behind, tailed off
Rhine Rewler chased two clear leaders, weakened 3 out, behind when pulled up before next
Tewitfield Lass not fluent in last, behind from 5th, tailed off when pulled up before 3 out
CLASSIC MOON had been progressing into a fair novice and accomplished his task with the minimum of fuss, leading three out, in command from the next and scoring with any amount to spare. Summer novice hurdles are rarely ultra-competitive and he would have every chance of defying a double penalty. He will make a chaser in time too.
Gouranga is a poor plater and her proximity illustrates the lack of strength in depth to this form. Our Kenny did not appear to produce his best.
