LITURGICAL had shown the best form in the line-up and put his experience to good use on his fourth appearance, leading over 1f out and holding on gamely. He saw this 7f out well and has the makings of a fair juvenile.
But newcomer Yorgunnabelucky might well beat him next time as he looked green here, ridden at halfway, but picked up well and failed only narrowly. He has an awful long way to go to match the exploits of his top-class brother Shamardal but he isa late foal who will improve for this experience and he looks sure to win races.
Night Of Fortune benefited from this step up in trip and showed more than on his debut, keeping on for fourth, some way in front of Reigning In Rio, who was in touch early on and showed ability on his debut, and fellow newcomer King's Counsel, who was green and made only late headway but should improve.
