Supercast tracked leaders, ridden to lead over 1f out, edged left inside final furlong, held on well
King Of Rhythm held up in touch, effort over 2f out, every chance when not much room inside final furlong, kept on
Hawkit held up, ridden over 2f out, headway over 1f out, kept on, not reach first two
Darfour in touch, driven and outpaced over 2f out, kept on final furlong
Dragon Slayer led to over 2f out, soon no extra
Valdan chased leader, led over 2f out to over 1f out, soon beaten
Second Reef held up, driven over 3f out, soon lost touch
SUPERCAST was reined back early on as he tackled this trip for the first time. He hit the front nearing the furlong pole and was driven out to make sure of success. It will be interesting to see if he can build on this.
King Of Rhythm was short of room on the inner, which certainly made the difference between winning and losing. Overall this was a much better effort with the headgear left off.
Hawkit came from some way off the pace and showed signs that he is coming to hand at a track he always seems to enjoy visiting.
Dragon Slayer made most of the running until headed well over two furlongs out. He's not too badly treated at present and should come on for this first run in nearly five months.
Valdan was bustled along to lead coming to the two-marker but faded after being headed a furlong later. This may have come a little too soon after his run over 1m4f three days ago.
