This didn't take a lot of winning and SENATORIAL was travelling strongly all the way. Once let down, though, he didn't exactly speed clear, although he was probably idling in front.

Jimwil was never far away and made the winner pull out all the stops. He ran on well and will be interesting now that he is qualified for nurseries.

The same applies to Herring Senior, who produced the best effort of his short career by sticking on to be nearest at the finish.

Daanaat ran better than her bare finishing position suggests. She was off the bridle with plenty to do a long way from home but it appears as if the penny is gradually dropping.
