Tabaret with leaders, stayed on final furlong, led last strides
Total Impact with leaders, led over 1f out, headed near finish
Solar Spirit tracked leaders, took keen hold, effort over 2f out, kept on same pace final furlong
Guertino steadied start, held up in rear, effort 2f out, stayed on well inside final furlong
Dig Deep soon tracking leaders, effort over 2f out, kept on same pace final furlong
Obe Gold chased leaders, driven and outpaced over 3f out, kept on final 2f
High Curragh led until over 1f out, faded inside final furlong
Libor slowly into stride, took keen hold, headway to track leaders 3f out, lost place over 1f out, soon behind
So TABARET got a good ride, always in touch and leading in the final strides. He has taken time to find his form after a fall at RoyalAscot two years ago but is reckoned to need really firm ground, such as he had here. He is very well handicapped on his old form and should go well in the Gosforth Cup at Newcastle next Friday if underfoot conditions are suitable.
Total Impact continues to run well and deserves credit considering that he may have seen more daylight than ideal, leading over 1f out until close home. He should give another good account next time.
Dig Deep ran alittle better than hitherto this season but Obe Gold is high enough in the weights.
