HOLIDAY COCKTAIL had slipped to his lowest handicap mark for a year and may not have been suited by the very soft ground onhis previous start. He probably needs this 1m2f trip now and he led 1f out and held on well for a workmanlike victory.
Seyaadi might well have beaten him had he not been forced to switch right to the outside of the field over 2f out. He kept on well in the latter stages for a clear second. He looks to be back in form and is nicely handicapped so he is well worth looking out for.
Bramcote Lorne is exposed as a modest maiden but first-time-visored College Land Boy ran a good race from out of the handicap. Alberts Story is inconsistent while the favourite Penang Cinta disappointed, weakening over 1f out.
