Recalcitrant prominent, ridden over 3f out, every chance approaching 1f out, no extra inside final furlong
Eastern Emperor held up in rear, not clear run and switched left over 2f out, kept on final furlong
Quaglino Way led, ridden 2f out, headed and weakened approaching final furlong
Ken´s Girl took keen hold, prominent until ridden and weakened 2f out
Mythical Charm in touch until ridden and weakened 2f out
Binnion Bay took keen hold, prominent, ridden over 2f out, soon weakened, eased final furlong
Follow The Flag is now 9lb higher than when winning his two races on the sand and he had every chance. There might be one of these events in him.
Onenightinlisbon is also due to go up another 5lb for his sand win but he also failed to get a trouble- free passage and is a bit better than this return to turf suggests.
