Teadancer held up in mid-division, switched right and ridden 3f out, weakened over 1f out

An ordinary handicap but a workmanlike performance from ADDWAITYA, who seemed to profit from a change of tactics as he made all, having been ridden more patiently without success in the past. He appeared to enjoy the role of front-runner and it wouldbe no surprise if the ploy was not repeated, but whether he will enjoy a soft lead again like he got here is open to question.

Cosmea is up to winning one of these average affairs before she tries her luck over hurdles in the autumn.

Mission Control came into the race on the back two all-weather wins but, on this evidence, is not as effective on turf.

Ever Dreaming, making her handicap bow after the obligatory three runs, plugged on and may need further.

If there was an unlucky horse in the line-up it was Addikt, who, having got across from a low draw, had nowhere to go for most of the straight after finding himself last at the turn-in. He is a bit better than he showed here.
