Speedy Senorita made all, ridden over 1f out, hung right inside final furlong, driven and stayed on well towards finish
Grudge chased leaders, ridden over 1f out, stayed on to challenge inside final furlong, driven and not quicken towards finish
Thomas Malory in touch when slightly hampered after 1f and towards rear, headway 2f out, ridden and stayed on inside final furlong, nearest finish
Paddy Jack prominent, ridden along and every chance over 1f out, driven and weakened inside final furlong
Miss Sunshine towards rear, headway 2f out, soon ridden and stayed on inside final furlong, nearest finish
Andrasta chased leaders, ridden along 2f out, driven and kept on same pace approaching final furlong
Extreme North chased leaders on inner, ridden along 2f out, driven over 1f out and no impression inside final furlong
Champagne Lawn dwelt and always towards rear
La Guancha chased leaders and switched left after 1f, ridden along halfway, soon lost place and rear
Grudge is still a maiden but he did quite enough to suggest that a race of this quality will come his way with perhaps another furlong suiting.
Thomas Mallory had some relatively decent form earlier on in the year but had not fared that well in more recent outings. However, he ran well here and another furlong will suit him too.
Miss Sunshine never looked quite capable to getting in a serious blow, but it was a decent effort and a bit easier ground might suit her better.
Andrasta may be a bit more effective over 6f.
