Sunnyside Tom close up, ridden to lead 2f out, driven inside final furlong, edged left and kept on well towards finish
Fiefdom tracked leading pair, effort 3f out, soon ridden and challenged entering final furlong, every chance when rider dropped whip and not quicken last 50yds
Frank Crow in touch, headway on outer over 2f out, ridden and edged right over 1f out, driven and kept on inside final furlong
Dispol Isle tracked leading pair, effort on inner when not clear 2f out, switched left and ridden over 1f out, not quicken inside final furlong
Emerald Bay led, ridden along 3f out, headed 2f out and soon weakened
SUNNYSIDE TOM had to work rather harder than the betting suggested he might, but he did battle on well and left the impression he would get a bit further.
Fiefdom came to have every chance and gave winner plentyto think about. His rider lost his whip inside the final furlong but that did not cost them the race; Fiefdom just leaving the impression that he did not really give his all when it mattered.
Dispol Isle was well and truly trapped on the rails at a vital stage and was still not beaten far.
Emerald Bay has run well when fresh in the past, but left the impression here that he may be better for the run.
