Fire Up The Band was second best in on official figures, in theory had 12lb in hand of the winner but he was giving vain chase in the last quarter mile, though he did finish well clear of the third.
Angelofthenorth is value for better than the bare form as she got knocked about inside the last quarter of a mile.
Elijah Pepper just had the best of it on the official figures also got stopped at a vital stage and then ran on. It was his first run of the campaign and there is a race of this type in him.
