Too Much To Do raced in midfield, ridden and struggling halfway, tailed off and virtually pulled up final furlong
PAINT THE TOWN RED had shown promise when fourth here last time and he stepped up on that, on just his third start, to come from a long way off the pace and nail Sacrilege close home.
Related to some highly rated handicappers, the winner seems to be improving with experience and his trainer, who has him down as a horse for next year, thinks he'll get 1m2f. It's unlikely he'llbe rated too harshly by the handicapper for this so he should have plenty of options.
Sacrilege, also having his third start, also came from well off the pace and he'd not been seen since disappointing over 1m2f at Lingfield in January. He left that effort well behind with a highly encouraging effort and he should be able to find a handicap especially if he can build on this.
Buddhist Monk can probably be forgiven this for he was shuffled back at an early stage and seemed to resent the kickback. He still made good headway, before flattening out in the final furlong, and remains one to be interested in.
Dea Caelestis could never get any cover, trapped wide having been drawn on the outside, and he weakened away up the straight.
