Court Of Appeal prominent, led halfway, ridden along and ehaded well over 2f out, soon driven and kept on same pace, lost 2nd near line
Gamesters Lady held up and behind, headway on wide outside over 2f out, soon ridden and plugged on same pace final furlong
Fenners chased leaders, ridden along over 3f out, driven over 2f out and soon beaten
Bollin Freddie chased leaders, ridden along 3f out, soon driven, edged right and weakened
Bramantino always towards rear
Shenandoah Girl dwelt, keen and soon chasing leaders, prominent on inner halfway, ridden along and weakening when not much room 3f out
Finnegans Rainbow prominent, ridden along halfway, weakened over 4f out
Barman slowly into stride, always towards rear
Missouri led to halfway, ridden along 4f out and soon weakened
Mister Pete came out best of the rest, and ran a sound race, coming back from an eight-month break.
Gamester's Lady was dropped out at the back and stayed on, but she never held out much hope of playing a part.
Fenners was comfortably held, while Bollin Freddie, having raced prominently, weakened in the final three furlongs.
